Brave Hearts' Camp Volunteers Requirements

Every year there is more interest in volunteer opportunities at Brave Hearts' Camp. Volunteers selected are those in the fire service, related to the fire service or emergency medical field and adult burn survivors. There are also specialty opportunities that exist in the area of aesthetics, massage therapists, and art.

If you have an interest in volunteering as a counselor, you must be able to meet the following requirements:

1. The time commitment is from the beginning of camp to the end, which is a six day commitment from June 10-15, 2007.
2. Volunteers must attend an 8-hour training session prior to camp.
3. Volunteers are required to be on the camp ground the Saturday afternoon prior to camp for an evening of orientation.
4. Volunteers must pass a criminal background check.

If you have volunteered as a camp counselor before, and are interested in returning as a volunteer this year, please complete the Returning Staff Application and either mail or fax to the Foundation.
